The Cord Group is a nonprofit, tax-exempt ministry that seeks to reflect the love of Jesus Christ through providing timely support in the form of helpful resources to the financially or otherwise disadvantaged people of our community and beyond.

Early, “venture-funding’ for new missions and missionaries, both locally and abroad.

Our why

a widow

A mom of seven unexpectedly lost her husband. We were able to immediately help her get back on her feet by stepping in and covering unexpected finances when she needed it most.
A son

A family said "yes" to God's plan for them before they knew "how" and adopted their son from Ethiopia who had severe heart problems. The Cord Group was able to pay for surgeries and adoption fees.
A Missionary

The Cord Group connected with a couple who started a Community Transformation Center in Haiti, meeting physical, spiritual, and emotional needs. For years, they’ve supported the couple through funding, encouragement, and prayer.
